Mr. Ramzy Abdelshid Gawargy has departed to the Lord in Egypt. He is the father of Mr. Maged Gawargy , the father-in-law of Mrs. Nancy Gawargy and the grandfather of Romina, Ogeny, Aghapy, and Rapheal Gawargy . May the Lord repose his soul, comfort the family, and may his memory be eternal.

The family will accept condolences this Sunday at Archangel Raphael & St John the Beloved in Chapel Hill immediately after the Divine Liturgy.

Mrs.Elenita Gumapon has departed to the Lord in the Philippines, She is the wife of the late Mr.Ursulo Gumapon She is survived by her children Daffodil and Kenn. She is also the sister of Mary Hanna, wife of Dr. Nabil Hanna, and sister of Herminia, Genevieve, Sheila, Elmer, Gilmar, Aunt of Wassem, Bassem, and David Hanna. May the Lord repose her soul, comfort the family, and may her memory be eternal.

The family will be accepting condolences on Sunday, November 19th immediately after the liturgy.

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that Mr. John Carter (JB) has departed to be with the Lord on Saturday November 11, 2023. Mr. Carter had served on the Board of Deacons at St. Mary Coptic Church of Raleigh for 12 years with Fr Misaeal. He was a senior executive for Union Carbide Corp/Dow Chemicals. He also honorably served as an officer of the US Navy.
JB is the husband of Mrs. Afaf Carter (Fifi). He is the father of Hanan Iskander, Beverly Busch and Kathy Hanline. He is the father-in-law of Nader Iskander, Keith Busch, and Dr. Skip Hanline. He is the grandfather of George and Marie Iskander, Alex and Stephen Busch, Dr. Lori Campanole and Dr. Karen McBrayer. He is the brother of Conrad, Robert, Charles, Leslie, Barbara, and Carol Carter. He is the brother in-law of Maggie and late husband Abe Tama, Dr and Mrs Adel Botros, Dr and Mrs George Botros, Iman and Maher Faltass, Dr and Mrs Kamil Botros. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews who adored him.
JB was greatly loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all. He was a wonderful Father, Husband, Friend and Uncle. May God repose his soul in the paradise of joy.­­­
